Summary:
The Nursing Assistant/Aide are responsible in providing care to individuals. Such care ranges from attending to individuals' personal hygienic needs to assure the person's comfort to perform a limited number of simple treatments and therapy. They provide direct hands-on care by assisting individuals with bathing, dressing, perineal care, mobility, eating, and other activities of daily living. They perform tasks requiring skills that aid/promote the health and well-being of patients following established guidelines, policies, and procedures, under the direction of an LPN or RN. They work cooperatively and participate in meeting facility goals with interdepartmental staff, as well as acting as an integral member of the multidisciplinary clinical team. They identify and participate in activities that increase knowledge and update clinical skills, ensuring growth and development. Reviews Memo & Posting Book daily for updates. Nursing Assistants perform tasks requiring skills that aid/promote the health and well-being of patients. Examples of these tasks performed under appropriate supervision include but are not limited to:
Requirements:
Shift: Day, with every other weekend and some holidays. 3-12-hour shifts. Contract Length: 13 weeks, with the possibility of extensions.
