Description

Our Corporate Information Services team is seeking a Process Architect for the SAP Finance Technology Team. This role is responsible for defining, implementing, governing, and managing Central's standard processes around finance with a focus on minimizing the creation of unnecessary workarounds and implementing optimizations where necessary. The Process Architect will be essential in onboarding and training new users during project phases and day-to-day operations within the Record to Report (RTR) area.

As a primary liaison to the business, the Process Architect will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure high-quality standards are consistently maintained in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the governance of the SAP Financial solution and related technologies.
  • Demonstrate ability to optimize business processes and procedures by gathering and defining business requirements for business capabilities.
  • Ability to work with business executives to ensure processes meet operational needs.
  • Ability to define business architecture to meet strategic requirements.
  • Effectively define, implement, and manage global process standards while preventing the development of unnecessary workarounds.
  • Assist in developing and deploying user training for new and existing users in the SAP Financial area.
  • Build deep functional expertise in Central's financial business processes and related technologies.
  • Engage and partner with other SAP teams, process owners, and key business stakeholders on solution design and implementation.
  • Partner with internal/external auditors on yearly financial systems audit
  • Assist with the implementation of projects, including requirements gathering, detailed design, governance, testing, data prep, training, and conversion.
  • Develop relationships with key business partners built on trust and transparency.
  • Resolve production support incidents/respond to user inquiries.
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of SAP financial data.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong hands-on experience with the SAP FICO modules required, specifically General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Product Costing, Accounting related Master data (Profit Centers, Cost Centers, GL Accounts)
  • Strong experience and knowledge of industry-standard accounting processes required.
  • Demonstrated track record in implementing SAP FICO functionality.
  • Experience with Billing/Finance, Payroll, Financial Consolidation, Treasury, and Reporting/Analytics/Business Intelligence processes
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • 7+ years of experience deploying and supporting SAP Finance and Controlling Modules or similar ERP solutions.
  • A BS/BA in computer technology or business management is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Typical duties will occur in an office setting; however, candidates must visit our manufacturing and distribution facilities as needed.
  • % Travel 10-25%, Based on project needs
POSITION INFORMATION
  • This position pays $86,000 - $116,000 annually, based on experience
