In this role, you will develop within the advanced capabilities of the C3.ai platform to deliver innovative AI/ML solutions that drive transformative business outcomes. Working in close collaboration with both FHR and C3 teams, you will design, develop, and refine predictive model forecasting apps by integrating diverse data sources, transforming raw information into actionable insights. Your contributions will be key in crafting interactive visuals and dashboards that empower decision-makers and enhance operational efficiency, ensuring our solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with our strategic vision. Ultimately, you will deliver technical solutions that fit our business needs while continuously refining our systems to stay current with evolving advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

This role is on site at our headquarters in Wichita, KS and offers a hybrid schedule, providing you with flexibility and work/life balance.

What You Will Do
* Contribute to machine learning platforms - from writing data pipelines, integrating data from certain source systems, assisting in deploying machine learning models, facilitating platform upgrades, to contributing to in house machine learning ops packages.
* Collaborate with a team of talented professionals, including business stakeholders, analysts, and fellow engineers, to understand software requirements and transform them into efficient and scalable applications.
* Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art software solutions that streamline our operations, enhance productivity, and drive business growth.
* Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects or performance issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.
* Foster a culture of excellence by conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring junior team members to help them reach their full potential.
* Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our software engineering capabilities.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* 2+ years' experience in Python, JavaScript or typescript
* 2+ years' experience in SQL or Graph Databases
* 2+ years' experience with the C3 Type System & platform, preferably on version 8 of the platform
* 2+ years' experience integrating data with the C3 platform through ingestions like AWS resources like S3, SQS or one-off CSV/JSON
* 2+ year's experience virtualizing data in C with external systems, such as Graph or Snowflake

What Will Put You Ahead
* Experience with JupyterHub or JupyterLab
* Experience with training machine learning models using frameworks like Pytorch, Tensorflow, Gluonts, etc.
* Familiarity with common AI practices (features importance, evaluating models, etc.)
* React/Redux experience
* Knowledge or experience Agile Sprints or Kanban
* Experience with Git version control
* Knowledge or experience Refining or Market/Trading
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, SST, etc.)
