Description
Kilpatrick, a large international law firm, is seeking a Payroll Manager for our Human Resources Department in our Atlanta office. This position will be part of our team of attorneys, paralegals and support staff providing a high level of service to both internal and external clients. The Payroll Manager manages the payroll function to ensure accurate and timely payroll(s). Performs all activities necessary to process payroll, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports. Serves as the principal liaison with payroll vendor and maintains current knowledge of software capabilities. Ensures optimal utilization of vendor's service offerings and timely installation of upgrades. Responds to regulatory agencies and reviews reports and filings. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

This is a full-time, regular position with a multi-faceted health benefit package including medical, dental, and vision. The firm also offers life insurance, short term disability plans and retirement plans in addition to holidays and paid time off. The firm offers hybrid work schedules combining in office workdays as well as remote workdays. The pay range for this position in Atlanta only is$97,000 to $146,400 per year.
