Position Summary

Are you an inquisitive B2B writer who loves to create and produce content that helps drive the success of integrated brand awareness and demand generation campaigns? Do you especially like to amplify content and build great community engagement using social media? Are you curious about how things perform? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing Corporate Marketing team as a Content Manager.

As a full-time, remote Amplity employee - ideally in the Eastern or Central time zones - you'll enjoy a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Reporting to one of our Senior Content Directors, following are the various duties, responsibilities, and skills we're looking for in our ideal team member.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

(50%) Content Creation & Deployment:

  • In collaboration with Amplity's Senior Content Directors and Digital Metrics Manager, develop high-quality, engaging short-form content, including sales enablement materials, blog posts, case studies, email campaign messaging, and ad copy.
  • Produce relevant FAQs and other keyword rich short-form content to improve Amplity's SEO rankings.
  • Oversee the entire awards submission process, from writing compelling entries to managing submissions.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to develop compelling content.
  • Help support chief marketing officer with public relations.
  • Collaborate with digital services team to deploy short-form content, analyze metrics, and adjust tactics as needed to improve impressions, engagement, and marketing qualified leads (MQLs).

(40%) Social Media Amplification:

  • Write, produce, and post engaging social media content, including 3-5 organic weekly posts on our corporate LinkedIn and X channels.
  • Create and execute content plans to produce video content that introduces 3 new organic posts on our corporate YouTube account each quarter.
  • Collaborate with our clients and other partners to increase our ability to share each other's social media content compliantly.
  • Monitor engagement and collaborate with the marketing team to optimize performance.
  • Design and implement a reasonable approach to social listening on behalf of Amplity's ideal customer profiles and the company's services.
  • Design and run a right-sized social media employee advocacy program using our social media scheduling and/or marketing automation platforms, maximizing Amplity employee engagement.
  • Produce and evaluate the performance of our social media employee advocacy efforts (aka weekly internal social media newsletter) to increase employee engagement and content sharing across professional networks.
  • Create a dashboard of key performance indicators and implement enterprise-level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success for our organic social media efforts.
  • Provide recommendations and implement changes based on these measurements to improve impressions and engagement across Amplity's digital platforms and organic social media channels.
  • Contribute to monthly metrics reports.

(10%) Marketing Ops Improvement

  • Develop SOPs and streamlined processes to ensure the department operates efficiently, stays organized, and maintains a world-class standard.

Education/Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Three-to-five years of B2B content writing and social media experience required.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills that can be used across multiple media channels.
  • Writing samples will be requested, and a writing test administered.
  • Experience in monitoring and adjusting to external social media trends. Competitive B2B benchmarking experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare/pharma/biotech industry is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations to senior level internal stakeholders.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and driving to outcomes.
  • A strong internal customer service mindset.
  • Expertise in leveraging social media management and analytics platforms (i.e. Sprout Social).
  • Experience working with and understanding the capabilities of one or more marketing automation platforms (Active Campaign, SFDC's Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, and/or MailChimp) is a significant plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the company's brand voice across various social media channels and in other forms of content.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving and optimizing social media strategies.
