The Clinical Director establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for the agencies clinical services to meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the organizations philosophy.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop, Direct, implement, oversee and delegate clinical department functions and ensure quality patient care.
- Conduct regular reviews of the quality of services provided by all clinical entities, utilizing established metrics and best practices to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborates with administrative and clinical staff to ensure intake process is accurate and efficient from initial contact to admission.
- Leads and facilitates regular meetings for all clinical service lines. Provides resources and support to ongoing staff education and development.
- Oversees the review of clinical charting and submissions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Consult with coding specialists to guarantee timely and accurate record submission.
- Coordinate and establish relationships with other departments, interdisciplinary teams, outside consultants/partners to ensure service lines are functioning at optimum levels.
- Oversee expenses for clinical services and assists in clinical operating budget.
- Recruit, hire and manage clinical staff and provide oversite of administrative staff within department.
- Serves as the point person for all clinical surveys in collaboration with Agency Administrator.
- Represent the organization in professional and community activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active RN license in state applying for
- Strong leadership and attention to detail
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of business management, government regulations, state and federal healthcare regulations and CHAP standards
- Experience with Home Health, Hospice and Palliative care.
- knowledge of nursing practices, protocols, and evidence-based guidelines to guide clinical decision making
$125,000 - $140,000
Reasonable Pay Estimate A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
