The Role
Strategic Engagement Specialists are a critical part of our US Government (USG) team, operating at a strategic level to strengthen and build positive relationships with customers. In this role, you will leverage your previous relationship management experience, domain expertise and depth of network to develop engagement strategies that directly support the performance of our expanding Sales team and generate an outsized impact on our USG business growth trajectory. You will help our strongest promoters showcase successes to their peers, and serve as the tip of the spear in growing the reach of our technologies for new use cases and markets.
Palantir is fast-paced and this role, alongside its surrounding organizations, is flexible and outcome-oriented by design. You'll need to make strategic decisions independently, thoughtfully weighing multi-dimensional needs and priorities, and be comfortable operating without conventional oversight. You will work with business leaders to shape strategies as well as identify the right constellation of people and resources to support the strategy. Most importantly, you'll need to lean into and seize rapidly developing opportunities with enthusiasm and a mission-driven mentality.

Core Responsibilities
  • Own and cultivate existing relationships with our trusted USG customers and build new relationships with key government leaders, industry stakeholders, etc.
  • Collaborate with our USG Sales team, engineering teams, and important business leaders to identify new customers and opportunities.
  • Develop creative engagement strategies for new and existing customers, including hosting dinners, small groups, etc. and work closely with business leaders to identify the resources to support the strategy.
  • Be the face of Palantir and promote our brand to the community by attending important customer-facing events such as galas, ceremonies, and more.
  • Contribute to our revenue targets by identifying meetings, individuals, government funding opportunities, etc.

What We Require
  • Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance depending on target account.
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $80,000 - $100,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
