What You'll Do
Job Title: Geotechnical Project Manager Job Location: Orlando, FL Type: Full time/Permanent Job Duties: Prepare geotechnical proposals between $5K and $200K. Provide construction quality assurances and quality control for shallow foundations and deep foundations. Perform boring layouts, obtaining utility clearances, supervising drill rigs, performing in-situ testing, classifying soils, determining appropriate lab tests and preparing geotechnical reports. Calculate settlement and bearing capacity analyses of shallow foundations and lateral displacement analysis of deep foundations for various load combinations. Observe earthwork operations including site grading, subgrade evaluation and undercut recommendations. Marketing including daily on-going client interaction and business development with a focus of maintaining regular client contacts and managing schedules, budgets of multiple projects. Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or any related occupation.
