Plastic Molding - Injection Molding Operator

Responsibilities to include:

AVNA is seeking a motivated individual to join the Injection Molding team. This 1st shift position is an Operator position that will require you to run 4 to 5 automatic Horizontal injection molding machines. Tasks required to monitor and inspect parts. Able to run/ load inserts in a horizontal or Vertical Injection molding machine. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in manufacturing with one of the market leaders in medical device component assembly.

A. Ability to read/write and do basic math

B. Basic computer skills

C. Solid verbal communication

D. Follows standard policies and safety procedures.

E. Follows work process instructions

F. Perform visual inspection of parts under a microscope.

G. Pack parts according to customers' requirements.

H. Able to load and unload magazines from an automation cell and keep the machine running.

I. Trim, Degate, clip parts as needed.

J. Able to use handheld gages, i.e. Plug gages, Go/No Go Gages

K. Able to navigate Plex, make labels, scrap parts, get work instructions

L. Ability to stand for long periods, lift to 30 lbs.

M. Keep equipment and work area clean.

Production Leads are required to:

• Solid verbal communication

• Follow safety and 5S procedures
• Be responsible for their work

• Computer literate a must
