Position Description

ENSCO requires a Sr. Facilities Specialist to support the maintenance of buildings, utilities and assets of the TTC. Responsibilities include working with facility staff members, contractors and Professional Engineers to develop and approve plans for internal and external building modifications, acting as a supervisor of third-party contractors that conduct preventative maintenance and repairs to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, and building/facility electrical systems. The Sr. Facilities Specialist will support the bidding process for new construction on the site by supporting pre-bid activities and analyzing bids in accordance FAR requirements. The position will be responsible for oversight of construction and maintenance contractors while on site. The position will be responsible for ensuring that the scheduling and execution of regular inspections are completed to ensure compliance with all engineering and performance requirements relevant to building systems. The individual serving in this role must be able to understand and support the installation of new building and site systems including high-voltage electrical equipment. The individual serving in this role will also be involved in the tracking and reporting on government personal property.

Job responsibilities will include:
* Supervising the maintenance, inspection, and performance of repairs and upgrades conducted by staff and contractors. These repairs and upgrades could be made to facility electrical systems including high-voltage installations; HVAC systems; plumbing, water treatment and sewage systems.
* Coordination of the review and approval of building and facility remodeling and construction plans and ensuring that maintenance, upgrade, and new constructions meet all applicable state and federal codes.
* Review of Computerized Maintenance Management System housing maintenance records, work orders and reports.
* Serve as project manager for FRA- and ENSCO-sponsored site construction and system installation projects. Project management roles can be assigned to other site personnel as necessary.
* Performance of duties associated with special events, including coordinating set-up and breakdown plans in a timely manner.
* Working with purchasing personnel and systems to order parts and supplies.
* Serve as contact point for building engineering specialists, outside vendors and contractors on special projects.
- Review and modification of property inventory records.
* Other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
* Minimum of 7 years experience as a Journeyman Electrician
* Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
* Supervisory experience.
* Valid driver's license.
* Ability to safely climb a 15-foot-high ladder.
* Ability to carry loads up to 25 lbs.
* Ability to read and update maintenance records with work performed.
* Strong organizational, follow through and time management skills.
* Strong verbal communication skills.
* Ability to be flexible in a fast pasted environment.
* Ability to observe all safety and security procedures; determine appropriate action beyond guidelines; report potentially unsafe conditions; use equipment and materials properly.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus for the entirety of the shift.
* Ability to build professional and courteous relationships with your colleagues and supervisors.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse interdisciplinary team.

Railroad regulations require that the selected candidate must pass an e-RAILSAFE security background check and online safety tests to work on railroad properties. Wearing safety equipment (hardhat, steel-toe boots, protective vest, and protective eyeglasses) when working on railroad properties is also a requirement. ENSCO will provide all necessary safety equipment.
