The Mission Systems Group (MSG) is providing cybersecurity and cyber engineering work for the Commercial Augmentation Space program office.
ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to support our Space Force customer. Must be local to Colorado Springs, CO and work in office full time.
Duties will include:
- Support the DCO-S program office alongside ENSCO's current team.

- Support software development team in the successful Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development and delivery of two custom built applications.

- Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages

- Support Space Force implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).

- Support Systems engineering and integration of cyber relevant capabilities into Space Force mission systems.

- Support administration and compilation of vulnerability assessments and RMF security controls.

- Support cybersecurity related studies and projects

- Support cybersecurity related tuning activities

- Support cyber-related Quality Control \ Assessment activities

- Support cyber terrain analysis tasks
Qualifications Required (Skills)
- Acceptance or recent graduate in College Computer Science relevant level curriculum, minimum 1-3 years related experience.
- Proactive and results oriented.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills.
- Possess exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using computers and software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain a SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, for which you must be a U.S. Citizen. You will not be considered for this position if you do not meet this requirement.
Qualifications Desired
- Experience with software languages including Python, C, JAVA, HTML, Basic
- Cybersecurity, IT or networking experience.
- 8140 IAT/ IAM level I or higher certification such as Sec+, CEH, etc.
- BA/BS in IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering disciplines.
- Current U.S. DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance
