Join Advantage Technical in supporting a leading company in Maple Grove, MN, as they seek a talented Packaging Engineer. This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to delivering innovative packaging solutions within the industry.

Pay: $46.00/hr

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of packaging research and development experience
  • Experience with medical devices
  • Knowledgeable in ISO 11607 standards
  • Familiarity with relevant American Society for Testing and Materials standards
  • Understanding of International Safe Transit Association standards
  • Experience with paperboard and corrugated flexible packaging films
  • Knowledge of Tyvek and thermoformed trays
  • Experience with injection molded parts
  • Familiarity with packaging equipment
  • Experience in packaging process and equipment qualification
  • Understanding of quality system controls, including user needs and design inputs/outputs, verification, and validation

Job Duties:



  • Fully participate in and contribute to project teams
  • Engage in product packaging design and development
  • Conduct material testing
  • Prepare specifications
  • Perform process capability studies
  • Carry out research investigations
  • Manage and generate packaging-related documentation
  • Assess the feasibility of engineering processes
  • Oversee packaging testing for new product development and existing design improvements
  • Plan and schedule independently
  • Design and coordinate engineering tests
  • Fabricate tooling and fixtures
  • Troubleshoot design and process issues
  • Summarize and analyze test results
