Pay: $46.00/hr Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field Minimum of two years of packaging research and development experience Experience with medical devices Knowledgeable in ISO 11607 standards Familiarity with relevant American Society for Testing and Materials standards Understanding of International Safe Transit Association standards Experience with paperboard and corrugated flexible packaging films Knowledge of Tyvek and thermoformed trays Experience with injection molded parts Familiarity with packaging equipment Experience in packaging process and equipment qualification Understanding of quality system controls, including user needs and design inputs/outputs, verification, and validation We have tons of perks! Job Duties: Fully participate in and contribute to project teams Engage in product packaging design and development Conduct material testing Prepare specifications Perform process capability studies Carry out research investigations Manage and generate packaging-related documentation Assess the feasibility of engineering processes Oversee packaging testing for new product development and existing design improvements Plan and schedule independently Design and coordinate engineering tests Fabricate tooling and fixtures Troubleshoot design and process issues Summarize and analyze test results If you are hard-working, detail-oriented, and thrive in an exciting environment, this outstanding job opportunity is ready for you!
