Under general supervision, office assistants will provide administrative support and customer service, understand and follow specific instructions and internal procedures, positive work ethic, initiative, enthusiasm, and an interest in learning departmental functions. The selected candidates are expected to be detail-oriented, possess integrity and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks or projects to meet projected deadlines. Both programs offer flexible scheduling, offering 15-20 hours per week with opportunities for evening or weekend hours during the academic year. Duties and Responsibilities: Filing, copying, scanning, indexing documents Maintain electronic record keeping Assist in satisfactorily resolving inquiries, Manage Inventory, Deliver interoffice mail to appropriate departmental areas, Maintain calendar of events Perform general accounting data entry, Assist in reserving space or rooms throughout the University, Assist in event planning Assist in recording and calling in food orders Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
