Position Title: Intern Department: Initiatives & Creative Production Corporate Area: PBS KIDS Status: Temporary, Full time NonExempt Manager Title: Director, PBS KIDS Original Productions Position Overview: The Platforms Intern in Station Services will support the continued quality and reliability of news, resources, and guidance made available to Member Station staff via platforms like the PBS Hub and Planning Portal. Working with Station Services and interdepartmentally, this role will help us expand our content offerings and help facilitate the consolidation of other PBS-run platforms. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Screening and logging PBS KIDS shows * Shadowing PBS KIDS Creative Production team * Helping with production shoots, if needed * Editing YouTube and social media videos * Internship project (TBD) Skills Intern Will Acquire * Real world production experience * Editing mentorship * Writing mentorship * Production management Requirements for success: * Knowledge of cameras and lighting * Experience editing * Writing Additional Information: Time Commitment: May 27, 2025 - August 15, 2025 Compensation: Undergraduate students receive $15/hour, graduate students receive $17/hour PBS is an Equal Opportunity Employer in accordance with the EEOC and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
