Safety & Wellness Manager The City of Fargo, ND has an exciting opportunity for a safety and human resources professional to join our team as a Safety and Wellness Manager. This full-time position delivers exceptional services to the employees, leaders and retirees of the City of Fargo in the areas of safety management and training. The position is responsible for collaborating with leaders and employees to maintain a safe working environment, the management of injury reporting/case management and claim management with Workforce Safety & Insurance (WSI) as well as managing the City’s drug and alcohol program which includes meeting FTA and FMCSA Regulations. Minimum Qualifications The position requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, human resources, or a related field and a minimum of four years exempt level employment in safety/environment human resources; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. A certification in Safety Management or Human Resources is preferred but not required. A valid driver’s license is also required. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $86,133 to $112,008. Excellent benefit package including health, dental, vision, life, long and short-term disability as well as a defined contribution plan with a 4% employer contribution and the potential of an additional up to 3% match.
