Position Title: Production Associate
Wage: $19/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-4:30pm Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing job with great opportunities for growth? QPS Employment Group is now hiring Production Associates in Oelwein, IA! No prior experience is needed, just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. These are contract to hire roles. Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Sand, putty, and scrape parts to specification - Operate hand and power tools - Apply stain by spraying and wiping - Load, unload, and assemble products - Quality control and verify product accuracy - Box and prepare items for shipment Production Associate Requirements: - A stable work history and consistent employment record including 1 year + previous manufacturing experience preferred - Ability to read measurement tools and follow detailed instructions - Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment - Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to or over 50lbs - Standing or walking for an entire 8-10 hour shift - Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment - hot/cold QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
