UI/UX Engineer Lead (On Site)

Location: Houston, TX (On Site)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient architectures
  • Supervise the development and deployment of solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring standard processes are followed
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing regular updates on project progress and challenges
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle, specifically related to exception handling with error code and DBMS scheduler jobs.
  • The candidate should have hands-on knowledge in Java and should be able to implement SSO functionalities.
  • Knowledge in Python and Angular are good to have.
  • This role involves directly connecting with the Customer, identifying and bringing in new opportunities based on the business understanding, analyzing business requirements, developing data-driven solutions, and using advanced technologies to drive business success.
  • Primary Skills: Java, Oracle
  • Secondary Skills: Python, Angular
  • Good to have Skills: GCP, PostgreSQL

Qualifications:

  • Front End: JAVA, Angular (good to have)
  • Middle Tier: Python
  • Backend: Oracle, PL-SQL
  • Source Control: GitHub, SVN
  • Good to Have: GCP, PostgreSQL

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 3/30/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68K - $130K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
