The Financial Analyst I, Digital Technology Enablement Support provides financial and analytical support for the Digital Technology Enablement Team including tools analysis, technology project analysis, business case analysis, NPV/ROI analysis, economic return, impact to plan analysis and financial hypothesis testing to promote the strategic goals of Cox Communications. Evaluates actual performance against business case projections, provides insights and key learnings, recommends course corrections and presents findings to the Leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates financial models of tools and other technology projects to determine actual financial performance against expected results; tracks performance over time.
  • Working with the Investment & Enablement Support team identifies sensitive financial model drivers; collects actual costs results, including documentation; develops and updates financial performance dashboards including key findings and recommendations.
  • Develops monthly reporting and monitoring tools.
  • Designs tests, distributes, and tracks financial models and reports.
  • Provides feedback and proposes options to Digital Technology Enablement Leadership on project performance.
  • Interfaces with other department members on special projects or on an as-needed basis, for assumptions in business models.
  • Provides direction and expertise to analysis team to complete projects including ad-hoc financial analyses at multiple levels of complexity.
  • Presents financial analysis and performance to Finance Leadership. Recommends and implements changes, analyzes and reviews submitted data to resolve questions and/or problems.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in a related field and no degree.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills. Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.


Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle, OneStream or other similar financial systems.
  • 1+ years financial modeling.

USD 54,200.00 - 81,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $54,200.00 - $81,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
