Supply Chain Co-Op students at Cox are considered to be an integral part of the Supply Chain staff where they are provided with projects / tasks that will challenge their academic aptitude and interpersonal skills.

Supply Chain at Cox makes critical connections to deliver what matters. We operate within an integrated framework designed to fulfill customer demand: Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return, and Enable. Our Supply Chain Process, Change & Strategy team is accountable for simplifying the business and improving the employee experience through data driven problem solving and business insights. We work across the supply chain framework to deliver sustainable business processes and solutions on a project basis. We have various opportunities within our Supply Chain Operations groups for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to learn new skills, hone existing skills, and deliver real world organizational benefits and improvements.

We operate at all levels from front line to senior executives and manage a wide variety of projects across our portfolio.

Projects/Assignments may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Shadow and support the Strategic Sourcing team in supplier negotiations, contract development, and category management strategies to gain hands-on exposure to sourcing best practices.
  • Assist in supplier research and analysis , learning how to evaluate supplier capabilities, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities to support sourcing decisions.
  • Observe and contribute to the development of sourcing strategies by gathering data, participating in stakeholder meetings, and assisting in the preparation of key presentations.
  • Support benchmarking efforts by analyzing industry trends, supplier pricing models, and procurement best practices to help identify cost reduction and value creation opportunities.
  • Document sourcing processes and assist in maintaining key sourcing tools and databases, ensuring alignment with corporate procurement policies and compliance requirements.
  • Gain exposure to supplier relationship management by supporting performance tracking efforts, attending supplier meetings, and learning how to assess supplier risk and performance metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CO-OP

  • You must be able to commit to full time- 40 hours a week for fall 2025 and summer 2026
  • You must be enrolled in a related degree program during each rotation to be eligible for the co-op

Minimum Requirements

Currently enrolled in a related degree program such as Supply Chain, Distribution, Business, Transportation, or other related degree program Co-op position is located in Atlanta, GA; Cox Communications does not provide a housing allowance. Available to work full-time for the semester of the co-op program Good academic standing: Candidates should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)

Preferred

One or more of the following

Microsoft Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint experience Low / no-code platform development experience (Quickbase, ServiceNOW, etc.) Process automation / analysis experience (Power Automate, Power BI) Exposure to Supply Chain Business / process documentation experience (iGrafx, LucidChart) General understanding of business statistics

USD 21.49 - 32.26 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
