Warehouse Clerk Job Description

Require High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer education beyond high school with emphasis in accounting. For a warehouse clerk position involving interdepartmental transfer of materials and supplies, the candidate must possess or obtain a CDL Learner's Permit within the first 6 months in the position, keep the learner's permit for at least 6 months, and obtain a CDL within one year from the date of hire in the position. Require ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted on an intermittent basis. Require forklift certification within first 6 months.

As this is an entry-level position, a minimum experience requirement is not specified. Prefer experience in work related to the requirements of the position, including receiving, storing, and issuing material with related clerical work of inventory and control.
