DESCRIPTION OF WORK

At Codorus State Park, you will take charge of processing payments at the pool contact booth, expertly operate the cash register, and strictly follow our money-handling guidelines in line with the cash management policy.

In this role, you will communicate the park's rules and regulations to visitors, providing them with the information they need and guiding them to the appropriate personnel when necessary. You will address general inquiries by efficiently gathering and distributing requested materials such as maps and program guides. Your clerical support will include managing outgoing mail with a postal scale and meter, as well as screening incoming phone calls, taking messages, and directing them to the relevant individuals. Additionally, you will play a vital role in supporting the park's clerical staff with various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our large park complex and the computerized reservation and revenue system.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Seasonal Full-time employment without benefits.
  • Work hours will vary typically between the hours 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Sunday - Saturday with a 30-minute lunch. You may be expected to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as operationally necessary.
