The
Quality Control Monitor (QCM) is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with
contract performance standards, personnel requirements, and operational procedures. This role focuses on monitoring
staff performance, equipment readiness, uniform compliance, attendance, and adherence to contractual obligations. The QCM plays a key role in maintaining high standards of service and reporting deficiencies to management.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Monitor the overall performance of security personnel, ensuring compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Verify that personnel possess the required licenses, permits, and certifications (including firearms qualifications).
- Ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards.
- Track and report attendance issues, adherence to post orders, and duty performance.
- Inspect security equipment to ensure proper functionality and readiness.
Training & Evaluation:
- Conduct periodic post inspections to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Assist with training initiatives and refresher courses to maintain personnel readiness.
- Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to improve contract compliance.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain detailed reports on personnel performance, training records, and compliance status.
- Assist in the preparation and enforcement of the Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Report findings to Program Managers, Contract Managers, and other Key Personnel.
Additional Responsibilities:
- May serve in other Key Personnel Positions such as PSO Instructor, if they meet the necessary qualifications.
- Cannot serve as a Contract Manager or PSO while holding the QCM role.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in quality assurance monitoring for personnel-based performance contracts.
Certifications & Skills:
- Knowledge of contract compliance, security operations, and quality control principles.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct compliance issues.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently while following established guidelines.
- Experience in law enforcement, military, or private security is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass all background checks and security clearances as required.
- Must be available for inspections during various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
