About the Role:

Magellan is Boston Scientific's largest technology and business transformation program in two decades, transitioning the company's ERP system from SAP ECC to SAP S4 HANA. This global initiative simplifies, standardizes, and modernizes core business processes, positioning the company for future growth. In this role, you will focus on identifying and mitigating business continuity risks, guiding risk assessments, and uncovering opportunities for process improvements, all while maintaining a strong control environment.

We are seeking a Business Process Continuity Program Manager to collaborate with the Magellan Advance Team and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) team in ensuring seamless business operations, optimizing processes, and supporting the deployment of SAP S4 within the Magellan program.

Work Mode:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the BCP partnership with the Magellan Advance Team to develop the BCP Advance Team approach.
  • Guide business partners through the Risk Assessment process to identify risks across the Customer-to-Cash (CTC) end-to-end processes.
  • Collaborate with business partners within CTC to identify or create As-Is process maps based on the risk assessment.
  • Work with the Magellan Advance Team and business partners to identify new or unique CTC business process requirements driven by statutory, quality, or regulatory needs that were not addressed in earlier Magellan/S4 deployments, enabling scope definition and early solutioning.
  • Identify interim processes required until full Magellan deployment and the integration of all BSC on S4.
  • Identify opportunities for new and improved ongoing CTC business processes enabled by Magellan.
  • Partner with leaders, champions, and employees to share best practices and accelerate the adoption of standardized and harmonized processes.
  • Facilitate the development of To-Be process maps with CTC business partners and Magellan.
  • Ensure the development of Mitigation and Contingency Plans with CTC business partners, considering business impact and the potential scope of changes across geographies and business units.
  • Review and provide input into the identification and prioritization of risks and mitigation strategies, ensuring effective risk management across CTC processes.
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership to the BCP team and business partners on the integration of risk management practices into ongoing operations.
  • Support training efforts for CTC business partners on new or modified processes and tools enabled by Magellan.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication regarding business continuity plans across all project phases.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement or Lean methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively communicating and presenting information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of supporting organizational change initiatives and process improvements.
  • Availability to travel up to 20% as required to support business needs.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA or other advanced degree in a related field.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with process mapping, modeling, and mining technologies.
  • Expertise in managing complex global projects with multiple stakeholders.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
