Licensed Therapist - Co-Responder - Greenwood Village Police Department

AllHealth Network is currently looking for qualified Licensed Therapists to join our team as Co-Responders alongside the Greenwood Village Colorado Police Department. As a team we strive every day to nurture growth and recovery by caring for each other, our clients, and our future.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated individual to be a part of our Forensics Team, working in tandem with law-enforcement officials to provide responsive outreach services for members of our community who may be struggling with mental health or substance abuse.




  • The Co-Responder works with local police to handle 9-1-1 calls involving mental health or substance use concerns.
  • Help de-escalate situations, assess safety, and evaluate needs like housing, food, medications, psychiatric services, and medical issues, aiming for crisis stabilization.
  • Responsible for navigating relevant mental health, substance abuse, and medical services.
  • Primarily responsible for follow-up on written reports but may request the Co-Responder make a face-to-face outreach with law enforcement as a follow-up.
  • Other responsibilities may include facilitating in-service training for law enforcement officers, ride-a-longs, and roll-call/briefing announcements.
  • Carry a work cell phone, a 3-in-1 tablet/laptop, and other applicable gear (tourniquet, flashlight, business cards, PBT, radio, etc.) with you at all times

  • Completion of an annual Co-Responder Safety regimen that will cover topics such as officer safety, officer rescue, situational awareness, self-defense, and first-aid.
  • Participation and successful completion of the 40-hour CIT Officer Training is required within six months of hire (this will be arranged for you).
  • Follow all officer directives while on-scene as they relate to safety and law enforcement.
  • Must work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team, including law enforcement officers, to efficiently meet the needs of clients within the community.
  • Coordinate care with the Co-Responder Program's Case Managers and other AllHealth staff (Walk-in Center, Acute Treatment Unit, psychiatric providers, and out-patient personnel).
  • Coordinate care with community resources, behavioral health facilities and hospitals.
  • Work with individuals until clearly linked with community providers who can assume ongoing treatment services.
  • Accurate and timely documentation of interventions and any subsequent follow-up services. This includes record keeping required by funding sources, and AllHealth Network.
  • Interface with the local police departments to provide education about the Co-Responder Program, mental illness, various interventions, and other topics and services that are available to both law enforcement and the community.
  • Be available for ride-a-longs with on-boarding Co-Responders, Case Managers and AllHealth staff who request one.
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with our law enforcement partners to include professional interactions, feedback on referrals, impact on the community, and new or changed community resources.
  • Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including those related to confidentiality, release of information and record keeping.
  • Complete and follow through with financial and clinical information necessary to ensure reimbursement for services provided to consumers by all payers.
  • Demonstrate professional and courteous behaviors while interacting with any and all community services (hospital, behavioral health facilities, resources, etc.) to maintain and enhance our community partnerships.
  • Attend all mandatory AllHealth Network meetings.
  • Complete all mandatory trainings for this position, your licensure, and as directed by AllHealth and/or our law enforcement partners.
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the position and within the experience of the employee as may be requested or required.



Qualifications:

Preferred: Masters or better in Counseling Psychology, Psychology, Social Work.

Required: LMFT, LCSW, LPC.

Shift/Location:

This is a full-time position with a schedule of four 10-hour days each week, with some flexibility around exact hours. The primary base of operations is at a local Police Department. This position requires 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Evening hours may be required.

Pay Rate:

$5K Sign-on Bonus for LCSW, LMFT, or LPC

$32-36/hr



  • plus $4/hr shift differential for work between 5pm and 7am


10% hourly bilingual bonus for Spanish proficiency. Additional $5K for LAC.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package detailed below.
