JOB SUMMARY |
The Mobile Device Administrator collaborates with IT Managers and the Endpoint team to manage the lifecycle of Everus Construction Group's smart phones and tablets. The role involves various tasks related to provisioning, configuring, securing, and maintaining mobile devices to ensure they are operational, compliant, and meet the organization's needs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
- A working knowledge of information technology practices at a level normally acquired through completion of a four-year degree in information technology, computer science, relevant technical field or equivalent experience; and
- Four plus years of experience working in mobile device administration, mobile device management (MDM), or enterprise mobility management (EMM) roles, with a focus on managing and securing mobile devices and infrastructure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Responsible for procurement, distribution, equipment returns processing, provisioning and inventory management of mobile devices, ensuring they meet job requirements and are compliant with company policies.
- Configures mobile devices with the necessary settings (email, Wi-Fi, VPN, applications) and ensures timely updates (OS, security patches, firmware).
- Implements and enforces security measures on mobile devices to protect against data breaches, unauthorized access, and malware, including but not limited to enforcing password policies, encryption, remote lock/wipe capabilities, and security updates.
- Provides technical support and troubleshooting for mobile device users, addressing hardware, software, connectivity, and security issues.
- Collaborates with vendors, carriers, and service providers to negotiate contracts, resolve billing issues, and optimize service plans.
- Monitors and optimizes cell phone expenses, including data plans and voice plans, to minimize expenditures while meeting business needs.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive user guides and documentation for mobile device usage and troubleshooting.
- Develops and enforces mobile device policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Generates performance and usage reports to proactively identify and address any issues.
- Coordinates with the IT security team to handle mobile device-related security incidents.
- Supports end users with mobile device issues and ensures workstations are compliant with company policies.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Mobility+, Certified Mobile Device Management Professional (CMDM), or vendor-specific certifications.
- A+ and/or networking certification preferred
