Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist is a critical role within the Optimum Media marketing team. The team operates in afast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects at a time. This position will work closely with sales,product, other members of the marketing team, and senior leadership to develop engaging materials, writtencontent, and sales events that highlight our value to customers and prospects.

Responsibilities
  • Create sales presentations, packages, and other materials in PowerPoint.
  • Train sales teams on new sales materials.
  • Write compelling content for presentations, articles, and blogs.
  • Design and write content for case studies.
  • Storyboard and create compelling online video content.
  • Become an expert in our products and offerings.
  • Meet regularly with sales leadership and their sales teams.
  • Assist in planning and managing sales events.
  • Assist in managing our sales library platform.
  • Other marketing functions to be assigned or as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in marketing
  • Critical to be great in PowerPoint (Must demonstrate this skill during the hiring process)
  • Exceptional creative skills
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Experience with creative platforms like Photoshop and Canva
  • Experience with event coordination and planning
  • Self-starter who can independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to learn new platforms and processes quickly and with accuracy
  • Experience in the advertising industry is a plus
  • Experience giving marketing support to a sales team is a plus
  • Experience in a sales role is a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Hybrid role
  • Must be located within commuting distance to our office in Bethpage, NY
  • Some travel may be required

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00-$105,570.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
