You Are:

You are a highly motivated and experienced R&D Engineer with a passion for driving technological innovations. With a background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, you bring over 10 years of relevant experience to the table. You are proficient in synthesis, place and route (P&R), and signoff tools, and have hands-on experience with EDA tools such as DC, ICC2, and Fusion Compiler. Your deep understanding of ASIC design flow, VLSI, and CAD development, combined with your expertise in scripting languages like Tcl, Python, and Perl, make you an asset to any team.

You thrive in collaborative environments and are an excellent communicator who can effectively support worldwide engagements. Your never-give-up attitude and adaptability enable you to overcome challenges and drive innovations that contribute to the success of Synopsys' cutting-edge technologies. You are detail-oriented with a focus on quality and performance, and you are always eager to learn new technologies and methodologies. Knowledge of multi-die and advanced packaging is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Aggressively engaging in worldwide critical benchmarks and deployments to ensure the highest quality and performance of designs.
  • Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to deliver new features in Synopsys solutions.
  • Create test plans to validate new features and drive the adoption with customers.
  • Demonstrating differentiated PPA results on multi-die designs to showcase our technology's superiority.
  • Collaborating with R&D teams to drive product development and advanced multi-die reference flow development for wide deployment.
  • Deep dive debugging to address PPA bottlenecks and design challenges on the most advanced multi-die designs.
  • Utilizing scripting languages such as Perl and Tcl for automation and optimization tasks.
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in multi-die design flows, ASIC design flow, VLSI, and CAD development to continually improve processes.

What You'll Need:
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with synthesis, place and route (P&R) & signoff tools.
  • Proficiency with EDA tools such as DC, ICC2, and Fusion Compiler.
  • Proficiency with Timing, DRC, and IR/Thermal signoff tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of advanced placement, routing rules, clock-tree synthesis.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Tcl, Python, and Perl. Be able to proficiently use Tcl to analyze timing and design situations.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC design flow, VLSI, and CAD development.
  • Never give-up attitude and flexibility in supporting worldwide engagements.
