About the role

The TCAR Training Specialist will be responsible for supporting activities related to professional training and ongoing education programs in both the US and Global market. Supporting trainings events and needs in alignment with strategic initatives and corporate goals. The TCAR Training Specialist will be a strong presence in the Global expansion of TCAR as well as focused support of Field Trainer program and their continued growth. They will actively manage program/project/system status, timetables, and ensuring everything stays on track and deliver results while supporting US training initative.

This role will be an integral member of the TCAR Clincal and Sales Training Team, working under the Director of Clincal and Sales Training on developing and implementing training strategies, timelines, and deliverables. They will be empowered to make decisions, solve problems, and own the outcomes of their work.

Responsibilities include:



  • Implement, deliver, and oversee clinical training programs for field sales organization across multiple international locations, ensuring consistent delivery of product knowledge, clinical best practices, and sales skills to maximize patient outcomes and market penetration.
  • Partner closely with Medical Affairs and Markeing on the development of Global programs specific to identified country needs.
  • Take full ownership of logistic support, shipping and receiving models for regional and national events, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness creatively.
  • Develop, implement, and deliver education and support for the US field organization's Field Trainer group to continue to grow, coach and mentor them. Ensure alignment on techniques and traininings as they update
  • Continue to support and observe cases to stay relevant, in balance with Sales Training needs
  • Make regular content updates, resource of requests from the field, track and update training completion, and maintain quality records.
  • Actively contribute to crafting and executing impactful Educational events, communications, owning specific initiatives, and driving measurable results.
  • Drive continued field education of all commercial field personnel via multiple training mechanisms to include, but not limited to:

    • Role Play
    • Online Courses
    • Instructor led programs
    • Self-Study materials
    • Imaging platforms
    • Learning management system modules
    • Regional, Local, and National meetings


  • Be a proactive advocate for adherence to all legal, regulatory and compliance policies



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree (MBA, MSc) preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant business experience with prior experience in TCAR and Cardiovascular Medical Device
  • Proven ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications required
  • Familiarity with the medical device industry, laws and regulations governing medical device manufacturers and compliance
  • Peripheral Vascular / Cardiovascular technology knowledge is required
  • Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills required.
  • Ability to travel 75%
  • Ability to work effectively with peers, both internally and externally
  • Must demonstrate strong commercial, clinical, and business acumen
  • Strong presentation skills, customer relations skills, and proven track record of respect and connections with field organizations required
  • Results & Performance Driven (including focus on execution) Strategic Thinking, Collaboration & Teaming, Sense of Urgency, Big Picture Orientation with Attention to Detail.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
