Senior Transformation Program Manager

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Program Manager will report to the Head of Transformation Office. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for actively driving the day-to-day efforts for on-going and future transformation and restructuring efforts. This role requires establishing, maintaining, and driving a centralized transformation and restructuring governance structure across multiple, complex, and disparate initiatives and functions. The Program Manager should have a proven track record of successful project delivery, an ability to improve project management practices, and significant team leadership experience to balance a rigorous program structure. This role also requires balancing such rigor without over burdening teams that are actively driving fast-paced, time constraint transformation initiatives.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Establish and lead a Transformation Management Office ("TMO") to support both transformation and restructuring efforts
2. Develop, implement, govern, and maintain real-time and data driven program management processes, tools, templates, standards, and metrics-based reporting
3. Measure project progress and velocity, while ensuring both team's accountability and that they remain within scope and budget
4. Proactively identify, and manage interdependencies; accounting for and their upstream and downstream impact on other functions / initiatives, and factoring into project plans the appropriate lead times
5. Support Finance in collecting business cases for value capture initiatives, while also supporting the tracking and validating of value capture savings realization, target progression, and the transparency and accuracy of information around costs to achieve
6. Manage the risk and issues and ensure sufficient mitigation planning is in place for any corrective action
7. Support a framework to accelerate decision making at all levels (from program sponsors, to the TMO, up through to leadership
8. Understand organizational change impacts and ensure adequate planning to account for said impacts is actively being considered
9. Monitor compliance with project policies, broader restructuring and transformation policies, and standardized program management deliverables
10. Actively challenge teams to drive additional implementation efficiencies to meet or exceed the financial expectations that have been originally established at project inception
11. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
12. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
13. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
14. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE:
The Project Manager should consistently and proactively consider a longer time horizon for end-state objectives, while simultaneously supporting teams to retain focus on near-term progress in a structured way that enables cross-program / cross-functional / cross-initiative communication. Lastly, the program manager role will be expected to routinely support reporting to leadership on key transformation and restructuring updates to better inform our leader's decision-making ability as needed.
