Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Bay Shore, NY

Performs clinical lab procedures, examinations, and other tests pursuant to lab protocols. Maintains equipment and records and perform quality assurance activities related to examination performance and exercise independent judgment. Troubleshoots basic instrumentation, culture media, chemicals, reagents, stains, solutions, technical problems and methodologies. Performs related duties as required.

Night Shift M-F (12:00 a.m. - 8:00 am). Must also work night shift (12:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.)

Reqs: Bachelors in Medical Tech or closely related field + 1 year exp. as clinical lab tech in chemistry, hematology, microbiology & mol. diag. testing + ASCP/ASCP(i) certification and NYS Clinical Lab Technologist license.

Salary: $44.35 per hour (no range).
