What Rockwell Needs from You:

We are looking for an Engineer To Order (ETO) Buyer/Planner who will procure and maintain manufacturing and material strategies by providing technical leadership to achieve total customer satisfaction and financial objectives.

You will report to the global P&IC manager

Job Summary:

Main Responsibilities

• Manage production plans and priorities according to project schedule, material availability and 3rd party manufacturing vender's capacity.
• Maintain accurate production plan date within planning tool.
• Coordinate manufacturing Kick-off meeting with LCS project manager and 3rd party manufacturing vender.
• Coordinate project execution issue resolution by working with Engineering, Project Management and procurement.
• Support or perform weekly review material shortage report and guide next steps required to meet production schedule.
• Lead weekly production status review meeting with PM team and 3rd party manufacturing venders.
• Hold 3rd party manufacture accountable to agreed production schedule.
• Monitor progress and drive toward on time completion of all projects.
• Analyze and determine causes for on time misses and take actions to improve performance.
• Prepare for, participate in Monthly SIOP service performance review meeting.
• Maintain a collaborative relationship between project team and 3rd party manufacturing venders.
• Lead or support process improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge in production planning and control.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft excel data preparation, analysis and presentation..
• Fluent written and spoken English

• Bachelor's degree in Operations management or Supply Chain/Business Management.
• 3 years experience in similar position.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM Certification.
• SAP ERP experience.
• IFS ERP experience.
• Familiarity with lean six sigma concepts and tools.
• Previous experience writing work instructions or establishing standard work practices.
• Previous success in process improvement.
