Regions Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider with excellent communication skills to join our EMS Special Events Team. Our Special Events team delivers care of patient needs upon their arrival to the event Medical or First Aid Stations at various venues. Join us and bring your EMS career to the next level! Responsibilities include:
The BLS Provider may provide work direction to BLS care providers; perform and document dependent functions such as carrying out EMS Medical Directors medical orders and perform diagnostic and treatment procedures; provide a safe environment; coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient, family, EMS personnel and other health professionals. The BLS Provider will be required to demonstrate all BLS Provider Competencies for event medicine providers as prescribed by the Office of the EMS Medical Director within 3 months of hire.
