Job Title: Microbiology Tech I Location: Columbus, OH, 43215 Duration: 12 months Shift: 3rd shift (Sunday-Wednesday 10 pm - 8:30 am or Wednesday-Saturday 6 pm-4:30 am) Will assist a daily team of Technicians by collecting samples, testing in-process samples, and finished samples. * Media making * Daily water collecting and testing. * Will make and record observations. * Perform simple calculations. * Help in support functions; stocking and distributing supplies, collecting, washing, and storing glassware. * Other tasks as needed. Skills: * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Microsoft Office skills * Ability to multitask * Aseptic technique * Microbiology background * Previous lab experience Education: Associate degree with at least 2 years lab experience (experience can be college lab work). Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Food Science straight from college. Manager will consider candidates graduating soon. Additional: * 0-2 years relevant experience. * Willing to take a recent grad or soon to graduate. * Master's degree is overqualified. | |
