DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To perform visual and physical inspections on incoming stock and finished goods to meet order specifications, production standards and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations



RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

*Perform incoming/stock inspections by utilizing fit, form and function procedures on Lift Chairs, Scooters, Power Recliners, Seats, stock parts and other finished goods

*Perform aged inspections and re-box outbound product as needed

*Ensure all scrapped products are broken down with the use of hand tools and disposed of properly

*Utilize Oracle system to ensure that all pertinent product information is documented and recorded appropriately

*Ensure Conformance to Order specifications and FDA regulations on final inspections

*Inspect all incoming batteries

*Utilize hand tools to perform re-work on nonconforming product per documented instructions

*Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

*Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training

*Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

*Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

*Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

*Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary



REQUIRED SKILLS

*Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

*Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

*Read and interpret work instructions, work orders, inspection criteria, tape measures, and company policies and procedures

*Perform duties with minimal supervision

*Identify and record facts

*Lift/Push/Pull up to 40 lbs.

Must have:

*Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

*A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

*Good verbal and written communication skills



PREFERRED SKILLS

*Basic working knowledge of Oracle preferred

*Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel preferred



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 6 months of Quality Assurance experience OR at least 2 years of experience in a hands-on assembly or manufacturing role with specific quality guidelines/standards



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 1 year of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred*

*Warehouse environment has moderate forklift traffic, and may be cool in the winter and hot in the summer

*At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment performing visual and physical inspections on assembled mechanical products preferred

*At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a furniture manufacturing role preferred

*Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred



PREFERRED EDUCATION

*High School Diploma or GED preferred

*American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification preferred



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
