Job Description

Deposita, an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a Content Designer - Training. The Training Content Designer role is a key and a valued contributor to the training and development team. The Trainer Content Designer manages, designs, and updates training content and courses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Oversee the development and updates to training courses and content designed to support learning initiatives, in support of field operations and clients; utilize business acumen and adult learning theory to design/develop learning solutions for high-impact projects; test/troubleshoot course functionality with customer requirements; update and provide maintenance to courses
  • Communicate with internal and external project team members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and other partners in a way that builds relationships and ensures work phases are progressing per agreed to deliverables/timelines; consult with content experts to capture course-specific knowledge, make design/content edits, gain approval, or update courses
  • Research content for new course development and all related supporting content to ensure accurate capture of required steps and processes
  • Collaborate internally and externally to identify skill gaps within both the training team and customer associates and work to effectively close those gaps as efficiently as possible
  • Monitor and identify trends of learners across multiple training sessions to identify more effective methods of delivering required content

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Must possess one of the following:
    • Bachelor' Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Performance Technology, or related field
    • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience utilizing graphic design, animation and/or communication tools in a marketing or training field capacity
  • Minimum of two (2) years of educational or professional experience utilizing graphic design, animation, and/or communication tools in a marketing or training field capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
  • Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required
  • Ability to effectively and concisely communicate complex processes or procedures in a manner suitable to different audiences
  • Strong technical skills
  • Proficient computer skills to include each of the following:
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • File-Sharing Tools (SharePoint, Google Drive)
    • Remote Work Tools: Microsoft Teams & Zoom

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Formal training on design platforms
  • Knowledge of Allied Universal business
  • Experience with learning program development and implementation
  • Experience in Canva, Articulate 360, Camtasia (or other video producing software), and graphic design software like Photoshop or InDesign
  • Experience working with a learning management system
