As a Software Engineer-Sr. Consultant, you will be part of our Acceptance Solutions org to help design, enhance and build our transactional platform in an agile development environment. You will play part of multiple teams tasked with multiple projects ranging from building full stack development of real-time transactional services, REST services API,Container based micro-services to highly functional, secure, scalable and resilientreal time payment systems.You will work on development, unit testing, code reviews and regular check-ins to continuous integration that will become part of your DNA.Youwill see the code written and moved to production within just a few days to a week, tothen be used by a huge customer base including Facebook, Nike, FedEx, Apple, StateFarm, to name a few.

Essential Functions:

• You'll use technologies that include Java, REST, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes and more.
• You'll help our customers achieve their real goals by understanding their requirements and how they respond to their business needs.
• You will analyze business requirements and architect a solution that is robust and scalable along with providing technical documentation of solution.
• You'll leveragenew technologies to build the next generation of Transactional systems.
• You'll develop and deliver new features every few days and be responsible for them end-end
• You are familiar with Generative AI (GENAI) tools and frameworks.
• You have the work and academic experience that will demonstrate proficiency and ease with programming languages, code quality initiatives, scripting languages and operating systems
• You have experience in commercial software development on Unix/Linux environment.
• You have experience with DevOps practices to ensure seamless development cycles and efficient production releases.
• You have experience in consumer facing application development.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Strong experience in building large scale enterprise level backend applications using Java, Spring, REST API, RDBMS, NoSQL, Vertx, Kafka, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GIT and Mock frameworks.
• Good analytics & problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in algorithms, data structures and common design patterns.
• Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery using automation tools.
• Hands-on experience in integrating and utilizing Generative AI (GENAI) tools and frameworks.
• Proven experience delivering complex software projects and solutions effectively through Agile methodologies on a regular release cadence.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Test, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to think big and challenge the status quo.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,200.00 to 207,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
