Job Title: FP&A and Accounting Specialist Location: Social Circle, GA (On-site, 5 days a week) CONTRACT ROLE: (Duration: 9 months - 1 year) Job Summary: Vaco is partnering with a growing manufacturing client for an FP&A and Accounting Specialist for a client located in Social Circle, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning and analysis, as well as accounting tasks, to support our organization's financial growth and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Weekly Reporting: Prepare weekly cash and inventory forecasts to support liquidity management and inventory planning. Management Presentations: Create financial data slides for executive presentations, including financial reporting, President's Report, Management Business Report, Consolidation Elimination Reporting to Corporate, and Quarterly Reporting. Monthly Entries & Reconciliations: Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments (PPD), bank reconciliations, and expense reports (ER). Internal Audit: Perform various internal audit compliance tasks, such as Month End Checklist, Financial Balances Upload Review, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Lease Searches, and Bank Reconciliations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. (preferred) 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, and accounting. (required) Strong understanding of financial principles and processes. (required) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex formulas. (required) ERP experience similar to SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc. (required) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. (required) Manufacturing industry experience (preferred) Skills: Financial modeling Forecasting Budgeting Data analysis Financial reporting Cost-benefit analysis Additional Information: This position requires on-site work 5 days a week in Social Circle, GA.
