Hear more from our team members about why UnityPoint Health is a great place to work at https://dayinthelife.unitypoint.org Overview Supervisor of Nursing Services- 4 East - Rehabilitation East - 16-bed unit Full-Time Benefits - Monday-Friday, mainly days with ability to flex hours, weekend on-call rotation, 40 hours per week The Unit supervisor: Provides leadership as part of unit management team. Coordinates unit management activities in conjunction with manager/director. Facilitates unit staff development in collaboration with manager/director. Carries out the day-to-day operation plan of the unit under the direction of the manager/director. Serves as a resource to other health team members on the assigned unit. Works collaboratively with other departments to facilitate cost effective health care. Assumes patient care assignment based on unit needs. Responsibilities Plans, directs, facilitates, and evaluates clinical services provided by a specific unit of responsiblity. Leadership and supervisory functions, including direct patient care. Qualifications Completion of accredited nursing program. Baccalaureate degree preferred. Possess a current Iowa RN license. Prefer a minimum of three years experience in a clinical setting with recognized knowledge and expertise in caring for specific population. |
