Assistant General Counsel

Paul Hastings' Office of the General Counsel is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join the firm's New York, Chicago or Los Angeles office. This position focuses on the firm's compliance and risk management with a particular focus on document and data management and retention, the firm's licensing, subpoena responses, coordinating and handling attorney transitions and transferring of client files, providing input and review of information governance, and assisting with insurance applications. The position will also require an ability to review contract provisions.

Candidates must have at least 10 years of legal practice experience, broad in-house experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.

Candidates must be admitted to the New York, Illinois or California state bar and be in good standing. Please submit a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $210,000 and a maximum of $315,000 (annually). The actual pay salary may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
