Staffmark is
looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Corona, CA. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a competitive salary and great benefits. Salary: $82,000.00 - $90,000.00

Shift: 1st Shift

This position requires a strong background in manufacturing, with expertise in sourcing activities, cost reduction strategies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Supplier Quality, Buyers, and other Sourcing Specialists.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost reduction strategies for purchased parts.
  • Support sourcing and validation for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Manage the transfer of assemblies and components between manufacturing sites.
  • Track and monitor cost reduction initiatives to achieve savings.
  • Analyze supplier cost structures and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Lead or contribute to project management activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Build strong supplier relationships to improve performance and quality.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in sourcing efficiency.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sourcing, project management, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred certifications: CPSM, APICS, or CPP.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Technical knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes (aerospace experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management Systems and GD&T.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
