Designs, manages, and maintains the company's databasesof medium to high complexity.Develops, optimizes, and maintains data pipelinesfor structured and unstructured data.Evaluates and optimizes database configuration and accessfor performance and scalability.Implements ETL processes and integrates data from multiple sourcesinto cloud-based or on-premise data environments.Ensures database reliability, efficiency, and scalabilityacross cloud (SSIS, SSMS, Azure) and on-premise environments.Performs database recovery and backups, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.Automates database performance monitoring and capacity planning.Implements advanced database security measures, including access control, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.Troubleshoots and resolves complex database performance issues, ensuring optimal query execution.Develops and enforces data modeling techniques and toolsto ensure efficient storage and retrieval.Documents database structures, dataflows, and security best practicesfor internal teams.Collaborates with infrastructure teamsto ensure the database architecture aligns with business needs.Supports and mentors junior engineersin best practices for database and data pipeline management.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Extensive certifications and continuous learning in database management and cloud services(e.g., AWS Certified Big Data Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Expert).Strong knowledge ofrelational and NoSQL databases, such asSnowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

Expert in SQL and advanced database management.Experience in cloud database architecture(AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).Strong programming and scripting skills(Python, Java, Scala).Advanced understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and automation.Expert in database optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.Experience with containerized and distributed database environments.Ability to research and implement database standards, security best practices, and documentation.Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.

5+ yearsin database engineering, data pipelines, and cloud data services.
