What you will do:
- Work with an assigned engineer to research and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of the design or application
- Design/test products or systems such as instruments, controls, fan coil, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems under the direction of the assigned engineer
- Work with fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems under the direction of assigned engineer
Minimum Qualifications:
- Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with Solidworks or related CAD software
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successfully completed Thermodynamics I, and Fluid Mechanics
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, preferred 3.5 or better
- Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Staunton, VA office
The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24 in VA. This represents the pay for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
