POSITION SUMMARY

The EHR Analyst I is responsible for the development, configuration, continuous improvement and support for the Patient Access team. This role is primarily for our Cadence application, but can include Grand Central, Prelude, RTE, Referrals, and Welcome. The analyst will routinely perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data, and technical documents associated with the application area. The analyst will design, build, test, install and maintain solutions related to assigned applications.


Responsibilities

  • Assists in development of system documentation, user manuals and training classes for application suite.
  • Analyze, plan and execute on new functionality in system releases to identify impact and opportunities.
  • Capable of managing assigned project tasks to remain on track with project timelines. Proactively communicates risks and delays and escalates issues as appropriate.
  • Creates and updates test scripts to reflect proposed workflow solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate information to internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner and displays an ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Provide training to providers and/or sites as needed.
  • Effectively triages, prioritizes and resolves support issues.
  • Develops and fosters relationships with within the application team and with business stakeholders
  • Participate in after-hours support on-call rotation.
  • Able to participate in on-camera discussions using video conferencing platforms such as Teams or Zoom
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in applicable business area (clinical, operational or IT systems support).
  • Proven ability to understand business issues and objectives as well as the ability to translate them into application solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal relationship skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epic Cadence certification is preferred
  • A minimum 3 years' experience as an analyst is preferred.
