Compensation:

* Base - $28.52 to $46.52 Hourly - Depending on Experience

* Retention Bonus: Earn up to $20,000 in retention incentives, paid on your anniversary each year:

o Year 2: $3,000

o Year 3: $4,000

o Year 4: $5,500

o Year 5: $7,500

ABOUT THE JOBs a Radiology Equipment Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality, safety, and performance of imaging and radiological systems. Working in a dynamic healthcare environment, you will assist in the lifecycle management of advanced imaging devices, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and network support. Your contributions will directly impact patient care by ensuring that essential diagnostic equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

This role provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology in radiology, allowing you to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing technical support for radiology equipment users, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with repairs and calibration. With exposure to a variety of imaging technologies, this position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their expertise in biomedical equipment and advance their careers in clinical engineering.

ABOUT YOU

You have a solid technical foundation in biomedical, electrical, computer, or information technology, supported by an associate's degree, specialized military training, or a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering. You bring at least one to three years of experience in hospital imaging service, manufacturer's service, or biomedical equipment service, giving you a strong understanding of imaging systems.

Beyond education and experience, you have:

* Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues

* Networking knowledge to support equipment integration and connectivity

* Electrical background-experience in electrical systems or an electrician background is a plus

* Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest level of accuracy in equipment maintenance

* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clinical teams and resolve issues efficiently

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

* Perform routine assignments involved in the installation, maintenance, trouble shooting, repair and calibration of diagnostic imaging devices and systems.

* Provide technical support to diagnostic imaging users and initiate any necessary service required.

* Perform routine electrical safety checks.

* Perform preventive maintenance, inspection, and repairs on low, medium, and high-priority general medical equipment routinely.

* Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation of all work activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.

* Understand and operate standard and specialty test equipment.

* Knowledge of radiology equipment, imaging techniques, and advanced diagnostic technologies.

* Familiarity with specialized test equipment (e.g., dosimeters, oscilloscopes, multimeters).

* Proficient computer skills and familiarity with CMMS or similar systems for documentation and workflow management.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Strong attention to detail.

.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification Path 1

* Associate's degree (or equivalent credit hours) in biomedical, electrical, computer, or information technology, specialized military training, or the equivalent combination of related education and experience

* Two (2) years of hospital imaging service or manufacturers imaging service experience; or three (3) years of biomed service in a hospital or manufacturers service experience.

Qualification Path 2

* Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering

* One (1) year of hospital imaging service or manufacturers imaging service experience; or two (2) years of biomed service in a hospital or manufacturers service experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Certification in Certified Radiology Equipment Specialists (CRES) or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), by The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).

* Factory trained in diagnostic x-ray or equivalent industry training.
