Job Summary:

Embark on an exciting journey with the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, School of Medicine & Public Health as a Radius Research Image Analyst.

In this pivotal role, you will support researchers and clinicians by utilizing image-based outcome measures in both research and clinical studies through well-validated image analysis, including some developed by UW imaging researchers. As an image analyst, you will perform advanced image post-processing, including 3D models, cardiac analysis, liver analysis, tumor response assessment, and image de-identification.

Education:

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred minimum for Research Analyst I title


Qualifications:

Required
- At least 1 year of professional experience involving research analysis, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.

Preferred
- Proficiency in advanced image analysis techniques and/or familiarity with medical imaging software.
- Experience with analysis software.
- Experience in a 3D lab or similar environment.
- Experience working within a healthcare and/or academic environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities and high attention to detail. Effective communication and the ability to work well within a team are essential. Additionally, problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills are critical for success in this role.


Work Type:

Full Time: 100%

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Salary:

Minimum $63,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications
The starting salary for hire into the Research Analyst I title is $63,000 and the starting salary for hire into the Research Analyst II title is $68,000. Actual pay is determined at hire and is based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:

Applicants for this position will be considered for the titles listed in this posting. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.
