The Clinical Engineering Supervisor leads a team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment, providing staff development, workload organization, customer support, and financial management. Assist the Manager, Clinical Engineering with daily tasks and provides department leadership when the manager is not available.

Employment Qualifications Required Education: HS Diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: A two-year Associate's degree in electronics or Military equivalent in Biomedical Equipment Technology or an equivalent technical program. Licensure/Certification Required: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Licensure/Certification Preferred: Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience A minimum of five years' experience in the Biomedical Equipment field. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Time management and organizational skills. Familiarity with the setup and application of all test equipment (electrical safety analyzer, digital multi-meter, patient simulator etc.). Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of Team Lead/Supervisory experience. Working Conditions Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur. Prolonged periods of working alone. * Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
