SUMMARY The Senior Program Manager manages diverse projects for all size clients. In the role the position supports existing clients and responds to new customer requirements and follow on opportunities with existing customers. Responsibilities include planning, presentations, requirements development and analysis, proposal development, financial planning, contract review, subcontract coordination, budget and schedule management and control, coordination with operations, management reporting, and client coordination. The position provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight to Sanborn's ongoing programs and specific projects. The position is responsible for full program and project lifecycle management and troubleshooting operational issues to meet client expectations. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position may or may not have specific supervisory responsibilities, depending on business needs. However, this position will provide direction to subordinate employees as well as input into hiring, training and employee performance evaluations. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred. PMI certification EXPERIENCE 10 years of experience, including experience in proposal preparation, project management, program design, subcontract management, and project financial/schedule performance management. Strong preference for experience in all phases of imagery and mapping project lifecycle management. Supervisory experience with employees in a project management role highly desired.
