Hematology Supervisor- Laboratory

Job Overview: The Hematology Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of Clinical Laboratory Scientist, technicians, and laboratory assistants, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of hematology tests and results,

Ability to monitor turnaround time, maintain quality control, investigate and resolve QA issues or discrepancies,

Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs,

Perform validation study and analyses as needed by reviewing and verifying test results ensuring accuracy and precision,

Maintain accurate records or test results, quality control and laboratory procedures,

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements,

Implement best practices to enhance laboratory operations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies CAP, CLIA, DOHNJ, and TJC,

Qualifications:
Required

• Requires a bachelor's degree in science
• 2-5 years of direct experience in the field of clinical laboratory of an acute care hospital
