Practice Leader

Responsible for the management of one or more projects and project managers/engagement leaders contained within a defined geography or national practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and manage complex engagement scopes, resource allocation, and client expectations across multiple concurrent implementations

  • Build and maintain executive-level client relationships, serving as primary escalation point for delivery issues while identifying new business opportunities

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams of project managers and implementation specialists, providing mentorship and establishing best practices

  • Manage complex engagement scopes, resource allocation, and client expectations across multiple concurrent implementations

  • Develop technology roadmaps and strategic solutions aligned with client business objectives and industry trends

  • Ensure consistent service excellence and client satisfaction through proactive relationship management and issue resolution

  • Drive continuous practice improvement through standardized methodologies, team development, and performance optimization

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 8 years in software HIT implementations and project management

  • At least 2 years of people management experience

  • Ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward

  • Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and negotiation skills

Preferred

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAMP) or Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
