LEAD, DIRECT CATEGORY MANAGEMENT

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a dynamicCommodity Manager - Pads to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Commodity Manager, MS, and your primary responsibility will be to lead, formulate and execute strategic supplier initiatives to support Entegris business needs. This role is based at ourAurora, Illinois, facility.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive sourcing decisions in the Pads business area that will lead to improved outcomes in supplier selection with a focus on supply assurance, quality, risk management, and total cost of ownership.

  • Become a strong technology ambassador for the sourcing organization, develop relationships with key Entegris stakeholders, and facilitate engagements that position the organization for long term success.

  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers' technical teams in conjunction with Entegris MQE and operations that facilitate a deep understanding of their organizations' technology roadmaps and capabilities to support Entegris product requirements.

  • Assess technology/businessgaps in supplier performance and implement continuous improvement activities.

  • Partner with Entegris product development teams to lead sourcing activities that enable organic business growth.

  • Negotiate contracts with those critical suppliers within the commodity.

  • Support sourcing, risk reduction, cost saving and supplier development efforts across the Business Unit

  • Provide sourcing and market intelligence support to the New Product Development teams through collaboration with these global, cross-functional teams.

  • Manage strategic supplier performance using business reviews, performance metrics, contract administration tools, and continuous improvement projects.

  • Develop and execute advanced negotiation strategies that support business objectives.

  • Deliver sourcing recommendations which take into consideration comprehensive market analysis, should-be cost modeling, supplier financial health, material availability, supply assurance, and holistic risk assessment.

  • With limited guidance, lead key projects that achieve deliverable and schedule commitments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional personnel on a global basis to ensure alignment of key strategic objectives.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to drive financial and technical success in collaboration with key business leaders.

  • Ability to travel, both domestic and international, as needed to support job scope.

WHAT WE SEEK

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited university

  • Experience in Category or Commodity Management, with a preference for experience managing foams, resins, adhesives, toll manufacturers, polymers, extrusions, and chemicals.

  • Experience working in the semiconductor or other high-tech field.

  • Experience using financial data to drive decision making.

  • An astute capability to recognize the needs and motivations of individuals, and the capability to develop and nurture a wide array of internal and external relationships.

  • The capability to quickly understand complex engagements, identify creative business solutions, and drive successful interactions with outside partners.

  • A natural inclination for learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated negotiating skills, effective communication capabilities, and the ability to persuade suppliers to efficiently support the long term, profitable growth of Entegris.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing, making prompt decisions, and delivering results.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to develop, lead, motivate, and continuously improve within a global sourcing team.

  • Ability to establish relationships with key business and technology partners that assure alignment and successful outcomes.

  • Timely identification and efficient execution of key supplier projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Competency in positioning team to implement a supply base that can fully support the successful launch of new products.

  • Identification and implementation of new supplier management elements to enhance the Global Procurement organization.

  • The ability to leverage key suppliers to support Entegris growth and profitability goals.

  • Compensation: $111,000 - $139,000 Yearly Salary range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
